ICE CREAM TOUR TO KICK OFF THE SUMMER IN
DOWNTOWN DAYTONA BEACH
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Downtown Daytona Beach is a popular destination for summer fun, and this year’s festivities will begin with a special tour dedicated to a popular warm-weather treat.
The Daytona Beach Ice Cream Tour will take place at the Riverfront Shops of Daytona Beach on Friday, May 25 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tour guests can sample a sweet array of ice cream flavors at host locations as they explore Downtown’s historic shopping, dining, and entertainment district.
Passports cost $10 and include a map with all the stops and their featured ice cream flavor. Ice cream lovers can pick up passports at the event on the corner of International Speedway Boulevard and Beach Street or on the corner of Magnolia Avenue and Beach Street. Advance tickets can also be purchased online at daytonaicecream.eventbrite.com or by texting “Daytona” to 40691.
“Our Ice Cream Tour will offer a delicious start to a summer of fun in Downtown Daytona Beach,” said Tammy Kozinski, owner of Sweet Marlays’ Coffee and member of the Downtown Development Authority.
The Daytona Beach Ice Cream Tour is presented by Marineland Dolphin Adventure, which is celebrating its 80th anniversary.
The Downtown summer fun will continue with Daytona Tortugas professional baseball action. Jackie Robinson Ballpark will become even more exciting as the Daytona Tortugas showcase fantastic fireworks Memorial Day weekend (May 25th – 27th) and July 3. Then, Monday, June 18 will feature Opening 2.0 with Belly Buster all-you-can specials and post-game fireworks.
