Join Daniel Acevedo as he discusses the latest multi-lead surgical implants for patients with Parkinson’s disease from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, at the Daytona Beach Regional Library at City Island, 105 E. Magnolia Ave.
Acevedo, who works for St. Jude Medical, will also describe corresponding technology that shows sustained improvement in quality of life and an ability to reduce medication.
The free program is sponsored by Parkinson Association of Greater Daytona Beach and the Friends of the Daytona Beach Library. Reservations are required; call 386-676-6375 by noon June 26.
The library is open from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, 9 to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
