Climb Your Family Tree at the DB Regional Library

Are you ready to explore your roots? Get started at the Daytona Beach Regional Library, which will offer a six-week genealogy series that focuses primarily on the Volusia County Public Library system’s free resources. Library card holders can access the databases without charge at all 14 branches.

Dive into Fold 3: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8.

This collection of original historical documents and personal histories offers access to U.S. military records and several special collections, including the African American Archives, American Revolution Archives, Holocaust Archives, Native American Archives, U.S. Bureau of Investigation Case File Archives, and World War II Archives.

Want more genealogy? The Volusia County Genealogy Society meets at 6 p.m. the third Thursday of each month.

The library is open seven days a week at 105 E. Magnolia Ave., Daytona Beach. Hours are 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
